精神鎮静法とは『うとうとしながら治療を行う方法』、全身麻酔法とは『眠っている間に治療を行う方法』をいいます。全身麻酔や鎮静法の安全性は進歩し、ストレスを感じて歯科治療を受けるより、眠って歯科治療を受ける方が安全になりつつあります。
Sedation refers to “a method in which treatment is performed while the patient is drowsy”, and general anesthesia refers to “a method in which treatment is performed while the patient is asleep”. The safety of general anesthesia and sedation has improved, and it is now safer to undergo dental procedure while asleep than to undergo dental procedure under stress.
全身麻酔や治療は、歯科麻酔専門医/障害者歯科専門医/小児歯科専門医などが対応致します。また、インプラント手術や口腔外科手術でも、精神鎮静法や全身麻酔が可能です。
General anesthesia and dental procedure will be provided by a dental anesthesiologist, a dentist for the disabled, a pediatric dentist, etc. Sedation and general anesthesia are also available for implant surgery and oral surgery.

治療のすすめ方How to proceed with treatment

予め術前診察で、問診、聴診、身長/体重測定、尿、血液、心電図、呼吸機能、胸部X線などの検査を行います。
During the pre-operative examination, we will conduct interviews, auscultation, height/weight measurements, urine, blood, electrocardiogram, respiratory function, chest X-ray, and other tests.

検査に問題なければ、ご説明・ご承諾後、精神鎮静や全身麻酔の日程を決めさせて頂きます。（初診で全身麻酔や精神鎮静法はできません）
If there are no problems with the examination, we will set a date for sedation or general anesthesia after informed consent. (General anesthesia or sedation cannot be performed at the first consultation)

For healthy patients only. - ※検査結果に問題がある場合や、呼吸、循環、代謝内分泌系の疾患がある患者様については、状態によって、総合病院/大学病院を紹介させて頂く場合があります。
If there are problems with test results or patients with respiratory, circulatory, or metabolic endocrine diseases, we may refer you to a general or university hospital depending on the condition. - ※全身麻酔や精神鎮静の当日は、目が覚めた感じても、患者様ご自身がお車を運転することはできません。酒酔い運転と同じ罰則の薬物運転に該当し、非常に危険です。
On the day of general anesthesia or sedation, patients will not be able to drive themselves even if they feel awake. Driving under the influence is subject to the same penalties as drunk driving and is extremely dangerous. - ※当日は必ず付き添いが必要です。
